Trent 79, MRC 579E, was one of six Bedford VAM5 with Duple Viceroy C41F bodies which had been new in April and May 1967.
While the rest of the batch survived with Trent until October 1973, 79 was burnt out in 1972 and its remains sold to W Norths (PV) Ltd (dealer), Sherburn-in-Elmet in February 1973. It was scrapped in March 1975.
