Southend Lowlander 327, 7091HJ, at the bottom of West Street Rochford, on route 7 for Rayleigh Station.
As can be seen the road at this point is quite narrow and is now one way westbound. Up to the 1950s it was two way, which with a bus on routes 7/8/8a about every ten minutes in each direction plus the odd 10s and 12s must have led to some problems. There was an accident in the early 1950s when a Westcliff double decker ran off the road and finished up in a shop front on this section!
