Guy Arab III No.71 of 1954, LOW217, with Park Royal H30/26R body characteristic of the city's Arab fleet is seen rounding Southampton's distinctive Bargate in the summer of 1961.
A variety of cars of the period surround the bus, together with, unless I am mistaken (soon to be corrected I suspect) a Flying Standard 10 of around 1937, a remarkable survivor of the 10 year MOT test.
Arab 71 is now preserved. This part of Southampton is now pedestrianised.
