Safeguard Coaches Ltd, Guildford, 699VPL, was a Bedford SB8 with Duple (Midland) B41F bodywork new in October 1961.
It passed to RHW, P & W Osmond, Curry Rivel in April 1970 and was still in service there in 1983. Osmond had an extensive collection of similar vehicles and I suspect it remained in his yard, along with a number of others after withdrawal. Osmond had ceased by 1990 and, I suspect, the yard was then cleared........unless anyone knows differently, of course
