Orange Luxury Coaches Ltd, London N16 JUV550D was a Bedford VAM14 with Duple Bella Venture C45F bodywork which had been new in May 1966.
It had been one of a batch of 39 similar vehicles, of which 17 had been for the Orange Luxury fleet, while the remaining 22 were for George Ewer & Co Ltd (Grey-Green), London N16. 31 were C45F, while 4 for each fleet were new as C41F and had destination boxes above the front windscreen. The 41 seaters were later modified to seat 45 by May 1967 (Grey-Green) or June 1969 (Orange Luxury).
JUV 550D passed to JE & E Pocknell (Viola Coaches), London SE22 in May 1972 before becoming a racing car transporter (by November 1979), a horsebox (by October 1986) and a caravan (by December 1994). In November 2001 it was at Wacton Trading/Coach Sales (dealer), Bromyard and it was scrapped in February 2002.
The occasion was the Amateur Cup Final, where Enfield defeated Dagenham 5-1.
