Nottingham City Transport 493, JTV493E, was one of fifteen MCCW H45/31F bodied Leyland Atlantean PDR1/2 which had been new in January and February 1967.
In April 1969, it was rebuilt to H45/27D. It was withdrawn in February 1981 and had a couple of spells on loan to the Road Transport Industry Training Board (RTITB) up to July 1981. In October 1981 it passed to WJ Thomas (Swanbrook Transport), Staverton and it was sold for scrap in August 1983.
