Newport Corporation 177, PDW483, was one of 21 Longwell Green H30/28R bodied Leyland PD2/40 new in 1958.
The bodies incorporated Metal Sections frames. It was one of seven which transferred to Borough of Newport Transport on 1 April 1974. One of these transferred as a withdrawn vehicle and the other six were withdrawn in December 1974. 177 went to Green (dealer), Weymouth, in February 1975.
