Samuel Ledgard MLL834, an AEC Regent III 0961 with a Weyman H30/26R body, new in 1952 to London Transport (RT3524) and acquired by Ledgard in 1964. It remained in service until the takeover of the company by West Yorkshire R.C.C. in October 1967.
It was not used by them and was sold soon afterwards to North's, the dealer, after whom no further owner is recorded.
Pictured head on as it departs Bradford's Chester Street Bus Station bound for Leeds about a year before the end of operations with an ex-Rochdale Regent III and another RT in the background.
To the left are no less than three Hebble Regent V's - two Metro-Cammell bodied 30-footers, with a Northern Counties-bodied 27-footer in between, the front pair both loading for Halifax (via Queensbury and Shelf respectively), with the third bound for Bingley, whilst a Yorkshire Woollen Reliance is bound for Manchester on the X12.
