In 1984 Yorkshire Woollen disposed of 10 of their batch of twelve 1972 Daimler Fleetlines with ECW bodywork to Midland Red East who traded as Midland Fox.
First of them was 2616, LHD304K, former YWD 694 with 695-700 and 702-4 following. They appear to have been unpopular with their new owners as they had all been withdrawn again by 1986 with Midland Fox purchasing over 100 ex London DMS types. 694 was repainted at Belle Isle, Wakefield by the West Riding paint shop, and is seen freshly outshopped ready for delivery.
