Stanhope Motor Services LPT124 started life in 1949 with an A.C.B. B35F body. It was rebodied in April 1962 with the A.C.B. C33F body which had been removed from PS2 KUP435 in 1958 when that was rebodied as a double decker. The new combination is seen here at Stanhope.

The chassis was rebuilt with a new chassis frame, given a new chassis number, and rebodied in May 1958.

Weardale Motor Services 6BUP was a Leyland PD3/1 with Alexander H42/31F bodywork which dated from March 1959. Its rather angular styling (not particularly apparent in this photograph) was almost identical to the four bodies built for Edinburgh Corporation PD3/3s (261-264) which were supplied in the same year and which were sold to Highland Omnibuses in 1974.

Weardale Motor Services 6BUP was a Leyland PD3/1 with Alexander H42/31F bodywork which dated from March 1959.
