Safeguard Coaches, Guildford 1637PF was an AEC Reliance 2U3RA with Willowbrook B53F bodywork which had been new to the operator in September 1963.
In November 1969 it was sold to Barton Transport, Chilwell, who numbered it 1140. It went from Barton to Beeston's (Hadleigh) Ltd in October 1974, DJ Crawl (Antennae Coaches), Guildford in October 1976, and then Edmunds Omnibus Services, Rassau in December 1977, although not licensed until March 1978. Edmunds withdrew it in October 1979 and sold it in 1981.
