It is a poor quality slide of mine and I am indebt to John Stringer for his efforts in scanning and improving it considerably from its original condition. The registration number looks like TVD 77 or possibly TYD 77 and the layout of the destination indicator looks to be quite unusual. (1970s)

71. 42CVD ... Baxters of Airdrie bought 42CVD new in 1962. It was an AEC Reliance with Plaxton Embassy C41F body at a time when most operators were buying Panorama bodies. It passed to Scottish Omnibuses when Baxters were acquired in December 1962, although Baxters livery was retained after an initial plan to repaint the fleet.
