Western Welsh Omnibus Co. 1303, 303CUH, a Leyland Tiger Cub PSUC1/11 with Marshall B45F body of 1963. Seen at Brecon depot in 1974, this was one of hundreds of Tiger Cubs, I think that there were 68 with Marshall bodywork between WW & Rhondda Transport.
This was on a day trip from VCS on Red & White Bristol RE SAX1G to Cardiff - then it involved various buses and huge hikes over the Beacons to Corn Du , more hiking & buses and a late night arrival back at VCS , then the tube home. I remember being completely knackered and I was then 20.

Could such a day trip be done today by public transport?
And if so could I manage it? ( well , No!).
