9. AEF590 ... A fine lineup of West Hartlepool Corporation deckers parked up on land awaiting redevelopment. Present are AEF590, EF9588, EF9599, AEF582 and AEF584. 15. MEF615 ... Hartlepool Borough Transport 15, MEF615, a Leyland PD2/40 with Roe H37/28R bodywork stands in the slightly faded splendour of Seaton Carew's art deco bus station. It was new to West Hartlepool Corporation in October 1962 and in 1974 it was fitted with platform doors. It survived until 1979. (c. 1973, Seaton Carew Bus Station)
16. AEF25B ... West Hartlepool bought some Leyland Leopards in 1964 with unusual but very neat Strachan dual entrance bodywork seating 45. The second of the batch 25, AEF25B, is seen in Hartlepool. (1972, Lynn Street, Hartlepool)

Hartlepool Borough Transport 37, EEF37D, a Leyland Leopard L1 with ECW B42D (+19 standees) bodywork which was new to West Hartlepool in February 1967 only two months before the amalgamation of the boroughs of Hartlepool and West Hartlepool.
