Western National 2082, BDV261C, a Bristol FLF6G with ECW H38/32F body, new in March 1965 and withdrawn in 1982.
Seen in its retirement home in Half Moon Bay, California, where it is parked nearby to WN 2101, EDV513D.
It is positioned so that its nearside advert “Welcome to Half Moon Bay RV Park” is visible at the entrance to the park. Notice that it was not moved when resurfacing of the roadway took place. It retains its fleet number plates on front and nearside. The “London red” paintwork leaves much to be desired, not just the quality of painting but because its position make it prone to frequent fog and salty air from the nearby Pacific Ocean. Its front destination display reflects its previous owner in the USA.
