Guernsey Bus was formed from the old Guernsey Railways and Guernsey Motors fleet and was for a time owned by Trafalgar House who used a variety of small Bristol chassis bought second hand from the UK mainland. Many of the early example were Bristol SU chassis with ECW bodywork. Seen at L'Ancresse is 129, 31902, a 1966 Bristol SU4A with ECW bus body which was new to Southern National as their 689, EDV552D, and was withdrawn by Western National in 1979.
