Walsall 817, RDH507, seen outside the offices of Roe at Manston Lane, Crossgates, was one of ten delivered in 1953. It was a Leyland PD2/12 with a Roe FH33/23R body on a Park Royal frame.
The reduced seating capacity was due to there being provision for extra luggage accommodation. In addition to the normal ventilation, there was a forced air system, as evidenced by the four grilles below the destination display.
