18. WPT796F ... WPT796F was a Ford R192 with Plaxton B48F bodywork, one of three which were new to Trimdon Motor Services in September 1967. Following the acquisition in 1970 of Jersey Motor Transport by Bob Lewis (who already owned TMS) and the relaxation of Jersey's strict 7'6" width limit, this was one of eight Ford's transferred to Jersey from the mainland in 1971, followed by two more the next year. Bodies were completed up to this stage at Seamer Road and then driven to the Eastfields site for finishing. Later the Seamer Road works were closed and all work was carried out at Eastfields.
