A. Timpson & Sons Ltd. of Rushey Green Catford, London SE6, PGC970, a Beadle-Commer TS3 with Beadle C41F body new in November 1954.
This vehicle was exhibited at the 1954 Commercial Motor Show at Earls Court and this photo appeared on the front cover of the 1955 Timpson Coastal Services Brochure. In this staged photo, the coach is shown picking up passengers in Bromley Road, Downham at the junction with Farmfield Road which was never a Timpson Coach pick up. The "male passenger" talking to the driver is C.J.Denmark, the Traffic Manager of Timpsons. The lady on his arm was a member of the private hire department. The tall lady standing behind was the wages clerk.
