Southend 338, CJN438C, a Leyland PD3 with Massey H38/32R body, one of 12 delivered in early 1965, with 338 being delivered on the 16th February.
It is seen pulling away from the London Road stop in the centre of Southend, past ENOC 2430, to finish the last part of the long Canvey Island to Shoeburyness route.

338 was withdrawn in 1980 with accident damage and was cannabilised for spares before being scrapped. It had been withdrawn the previous year but was reinstated to cover the hire of five Daimler Fleetlines to Darlington.
