Southport 85, FFY402, was one of six out of a batch of twelve Leyland PD2/3 with Leyland bodies, new in 1947 as H30/26R and converted in 1962 and 1963 to O30/26R.
It is seen here at the St Helens Corporation Depot prior to taking part in the Golden Jubilee rally to mark 50 years of St Helens Corporation Transport, 1919-1969. Withdrawn 'by April 1974', the last of the batch, it was sold into preservation by September 1976 at the Banham International Motor Museum, Diss and was a static playbus at the London Toy and Model Museum by April 1983. By December 2023 it was listed as being at the Transport Museum, Wythall.
