Harper, Heath Hayes 10, BDJ808, an A.E.C. 0961 Regent III with a Park Royal H30/26R body had been new as St. Helens 8 in February 1952, becoming D8 c.1954.
Harper acquired it in November 1961, with it entering service in February 1962, and it became a breakdown lorry in 1973. It passed to R. Shaw, Warley in September 1974 for preservation, and to members of the North West Transport Museum Society, by July 1987, also for preservation.
