GMT 5848, HJA948E a 1967 Leyland PD2/40 with East Lancs H36/28R body originally Stockport 48.
The former SHMD depot at Tame St seemed to enjoy tinkering with the appearance of the Stockport PD2s, reallocated to them. This one has wheel nut guard rings and a replacement fixed windscreen, altering its appearance somewhat, and it seems the Stockport radiator blinds were too difficult to manage so they have been removed and a load of cardboard pushed down behind the grille instead.
