Charles St buses in the "ginnel" at Daw Bank with the workshops to the left and offices to the right (now Stagecoach Manchester). Part-day buses were kept here between the peaks to save returning them to Charles St. "Hawker Siddeley" on 5961's blinds is the plant that became British Aerospace and has recently been closed, with much acrimony.
