Seen in Manchester is ex-Stockport 168, JA6214, a Leyland TD4c with a Leyland H28/24R body new in 1935. It was withdrawn in 1958 and passed to C. Holt, Rusholme who ran it until May 1960.
Behind it is another ex-Stockport bus, this time the first of eight delivered in 1936 with the improved body. JA7571, ex-Stockport 171 was a Leyland TD4c with a Leyland H28/24R which was withdrawn in 1958. It passed to Holt's associated company Stockport Coachways (C. Holt), Rusholme and was withdrawn in January 1961. In both cases the torque converters had been replaced by crash gearboxes between 1945 and 1947.
