Shergold & White (Silver Star), Porton Down 28, HWV793, a Leyland PSU1/15 Royal Tiger had a Leyland C41C body and carried fleet number 13 when new but it was rebodied with a Harrington Wayfarer C41C body in 1956 after a serious accident and renumbered. It was seen in Manchester at the Parker Street Coach Park on a Forces leave service.

New to Silver Star, as numbers 33 and 32, RAM620 and PMW386 had become Wilts & Dorset 903 and 902 by the time of this shot at Salisbury. They were both Harrington DP41F bodied Leyland PSUC1/2 Tiger Cubs which originally carried the Silver Star motif in the modified roof dome.

Eynon's WWV564 is quite clearly a former Silver Star vehicle. A Leyland Leopard L1 with Harrington C39F (DP39F?) bodywork, bus seats having replaced the original coach seats but still retaining the hinged door.
