GMT 1727, XVU357M a 1974 Seddon Midi with Seddon B19F bodywork, and 5073, WMA113E a 1967 Bristol RESL6G with NCME B43F bodywork, originally SHMD 113
Seen on the inaugural day of a summer Sunday service to Werneth Low Country Park from Hyde Bus Station. The duplicate vehicle was provided in case of heavy loadings, but I don't think the service was repeated in following years. Some of the chaps on the right were members of the Tameside depot inspectorate, if I remember rightly.
