Ribble, Preston 227, RN7857, was a Leyland TS7 which had been new in 1936, numbered 1452, with an English Electric C31F body.
In 1949 it was fitted with a Burlingham B35F body and a Leyland E181 engine, and renumbered to 2718.
In 1951 it was further renumbered to 227 and was seen on the land between Castle Street and Saville Street in Leeds. After withdrawal in 1961 it passed to Millburn Motors (dealer), Preston and to Premier Footwear (Fleetwood) Ltd., Poulton in August 1961.
