Rawtenstall 11, JTE496, was the first production Leyland PD2. New in 1948 it was of the PD2/1 type with East Lancs H30/26R bodywork and is seen here in Haslingden.
Although the first production PD2 chassis built it was not the first to enter service, ones with Leyland bodies entering service in 1947.
