Another view of Portsmouth tower wagon TW2 RV3412, parked outside the former Portsmouth Street Tramways depot on Gladys Avenue, North End in October 1953.
The unusual angle is because Roger took the photo from his flat at 6 Gladys Avenue.
I wonder if the location opposite the depot had any bearing on Roger's choice of residence! The depot was eventually closed on 31st October 1981 and the site has since inevitably become a housing development.
