New in September 1956, Potteries, Stoke H6656, XVT656, a Daimler CVG5 with a Metro Cammell H35/28RD body, was seen at their Newcastle-under-Lyme Garage.
It was one of a number from the batch (H6647-H6676) which were later fitted with Gardner 6LW engines. After withdrawal in 1971 it passed to Cowley (dealer), Salford in October 1971 and to Barraclogh (dealer), Carlton also in October 1971
