163AVK, Newcastle 163, was one of ten AEC Regent V with Park Royal L30/28R bodies new in April 1957.
It was withdrawn in 1969 and went to Bingley Autospares (dealer), Bingley, in December of that year, for scrap.
According to the PSV Circle fleet history PA16 from November 1986 these were lowbridge vehicles for the Ponteland route. Ten further Park Royal bodied AEC Regent V were new in May 1957 but these were of highbridge configuration.
