Neath & Cardiff PTX830F was an AEC Reliance 6MU4R with Plaxton Panorama I C41F body and the sole new purchase in 1968, entering service on 1st February.
It came between two pairs of similar vehicles new in 1967 and 1969 but differed from those by only being 32 feet long. It was allotted South Wales fleet number 129 but never carried its South Wales identity, instead being transferred to Western Welsh in 1st January 1971 in which fleet it became 105.
It was downgraded to dual-purpose in April 1974 and equipped for one-man operation by the following March. In August 1974 it was renumbered UD768 and again in October 1975 to UD4368. It was withdrawn in 1978 and may have just about made it in to the National Welsh fleet before withdrawal, but I don't have an exact date to check.
