Former unique Morecambe & Heysham AEC Regent III was operating a service in connection with the Ribble Vehicle Preservation Trust?s (RVPT) Morecambe Running Day on 18 May 2025. An exhibit at the 1950 Commercial Motor Show at Earls Court in London, 8ft-wide 72, MTC540, was a one-off in the Lancashire towns municipal fleet, as its Park Royal body had many of the features of London Transport's RT class.
