Seen with the newly constructed shelters on the adjacent platform of Piccadilly Bus Station is Manchester 3933, FVM29, which was a Leyland TD5 with a Leyland H29/26R body.
New in December 1939, as number 933, it became 3933 in the renumbering scheme of 1946 and was, when photographed, operating a Football Special service.
