Trent 735, SRB76F, was new as Midland General 678 in October 1967. It was a Bristol Lodekka FLF6G (LX) with 4-speed semi-automatic transmission and ECW H38/32F bodywork.
It is seen on loan to West Yorkshire Road Car during a vehicle shortage at Leeds depot in summer 1979.
The August 1979 West Yorkshire Information Service bulletin mentions that 735 had been withdrawn by Trent and arrived with West Yorkshire on 10th October (along with fellow FLF 734), with all its transfers painted over apart from legal ownership (and presumably unladen weight), including the "Double-N" logo on the radiator. It still looks pretty smart in the photo though, and I'm sure its Gardner 6LX engine and semi-auto gearbox would have proved very popular among the driving staff.
