Maidstone & District put into service, in August/September 1963, ten A.E.C. 2MU2RA Reliances with Harrington B42F bodies and S194, 194XKE, which entered service in August is seen here in Harold Place, Hastings.
They were built to a width of 7' 6" for use in the Hastings area and were equipped for one-man operation. S194 was renumbered to 3694 in January 1968 and was withdrawn in 1977, passing in September to P. Sykes (dealer), Barnsley and then to Barraclough, Barnsley in October and then scrapped.
