VKR37 was one of two lowbridge Regent Vs that were bought from Maidstone & District by Calderdale Joint Omnibus Committee and worked from Todmorden garage. It was new as DL37 and was an AEC Regent V MD3RV with a Park Royal L30/26RD body.
The bus had a short stint in preservation and is seen thus in the photo, carrying what I assume is the later M & D fleet number 6737. I don't know its ultimate fate but fortunately sister DL39 is still very much around and looks superb.
