Seen at the Hawkhurst garage is Maidstone & District DH389, NKT885, a Leyland PD2/12 which was new in June 1951 with a Leyland H30/28R body.
It was fitted with platform doors in June 1954, was withdrawn in 1970, passing to T.P.E, (dealer), Macclesfield in July 1970 and is believed to have been scrapped at Crowborough in 1972.
