Seen in the bus station in St. Helier is Jersey Motor Transport 11, J8629, a Leyland 7RT acquired from London Transport where it had been new as RTL1348, MXX71, in December 1952.
It passed to J.M.T. In May 1959 and had a Park Royal H30/26R body, being withdrawn in November 1974. It passed to Brakell (dealer), Cheam, registered back to MXX71 and used as a towing bus. It was later painted L.T. red and passed in March 1985 to D. Ladd, Iver for preservation.
