Ex-Liverpool CT A36, NKD536, an AEC Regent III 9613S with Crossley bodywork, new in 1953.
At the time, fairly recently acquired by Dave Ellis of the Mersey & Calder Bus Preservation Group and still in as withdrawn condition, A36 attended the HCVC London to Brighton Rally in 1973, though was not officially an entrant. Accompanying it on the day was Dave Sayer's ex-Greenslades (originally Grey Cars) LTA629, an AEC Regal III 9621A with Duple four-bay A-type C32F body new in 1950 - seen parked behind, and Tony Blackman's ex-Halifax JOC Regent III 277.
