After working the final departure from Pier Head to Bowring Park on service 6A, Baby Grand 293 operated the 1436 departure back to Edge Lane where it ran in to the depot in preparation for the 10 car procession of trams later in the day.
The driver can be seen wielding the point iron as the passengers alight. After closure 293 was exported to America where it currently resides unrestored in a trolley museum in Maine.
