Samuel Ledgard MUA866 was a Foden PVSC6 with a Plaxton FC33F body of 1949.
Although Ledgard had a reputation for being "careful" with their money, relying heavily on second-hand vehicles in their latter years, they always tried to maintain a smart fleet of coaches.
