78 out of the 100 vehicles to spend time in the Dearneways fleet had Leyland chassis, whilst 29 of the Leylands had Plaxton bodies. AUM413C, a 1965 Leyland Leopard PSU3/3RT with Plaxton Panorama C51F body, could be said to typify the firm's coach fleet.
The coach had been new to Samuel Ledgard of Armley, Leeds and joined Dearneways in 1969, via City Coach Lines of Waltham Abbey. It was photographed in Central Leeds in May 1975 and was withdrawn later that year.
