FUP782 was a May 1946 A.E.C. O662 Regal which, when new, had a Raine B35F body and which was acquired from Trimdon Motor Services in October 1951 by Thomas (t/a Llynfi Motor Services), Maesteg along with FUP783 which had a Thurgood B34F body.

The third of the Leyland HR40 Olympic prototypes with Metro-Cammell B40F bodywork, KOC242, found its way into the fleet of Llynfi, Maesteg as number 61 in November 1953 and is here seen at the garage. It was acquired from Whittle, Highley to whom it had passed after demonstration work.
