Leeds City Transport AEC Regent V chassis, destined to become number 972, DUM972C and to enter service on 3rd December 1965.
The chassis is pictured here on arrival from Southall at the LCT storage facility (a former operating depot, by then partly rented to Wallace Arnold) at Donisthorpe Street, Hunslet. It will soon make the short journey of around four miles to the renowned Charles H. Roe factory for bodying of the highest quality and style.
