Seen in Stanningley Road close to Pasture View are two Leeds rail grinders and a stores car which are performing track grinding on the disused track of the then recently closed Half Mile Lane route before it is lifted for further use elsewhere on the system. They are numbers 6, 3 and 1. Number 6 was ex-Hull 96 and in use as a stores car whilst 3 was a trailer grinder, built around 1945, with power supplied via number 6, and 1 was a purpose built rail grinder built in 1938-9.
