Feltham 585 in the final unlined livery is seen at the loading point at Whingate ready to return to Crossgates on the last day of the tram services along Tong Road. Although it had arrived in Leeds on the 18th September 1951 it did not enter service until 8th June 1956 fitted with a single piece windscreen and Metrolpolitan Vickers OK9B controllers. It was withdrawn on 27th February 1959 and burned at the Brown Lane, Holbeck yard of George Cohen & Son Ltd.
