Leeds Horsfield 181 is seen at the Elland Road terminus about to return to Meanwood one week before closure of the route which took place on June 25th. It was one of 100 such trams with Brush 37/23 bodies on Peckham P.35 Pendulum trucks new in 1931. New in June 1931, the Pullman vents were fitted in January 1949, the single blind destination in June 1951 and the bow tubes replacing the pulley wheels on the roof in November 1953. It never received electric bells and was withdrawn on 7th November 1959.
