The number 11 tram service to Gipton ceased on Saturday 23rd April 1955. Seen the following day at the Gipton terminus, at the junction of Gipton Approach and Wykebeck Valley Road, is one of the replacement buses - Leeds 112, HUM407, an A.E.C. O661 Regent with a Roe H31/25R body, new in March 1940.
It was withdrawn on 30th September 1956 and transferred to the learner fleet as number 3 until withdrawal in September 1962.
